An eel restaurant located along National Route 20 in Shimosuwa Town. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is calm. Unaju comes in pine, bamboo, and plum. Today we had delicious plums for 2,900 yen and Nishikiju (kabayaki and shirayaki) for 2,900 yen. The pickles are Nozawana and Shibasuke. The drinks are also delicious. After the meal, I received 500 yen of pudding, which was topped with blueberry sauce.

When I visited Lake Suwa, I wanted to eat some delicious eel for lunch, so I stopped by this restaurant with a good reputation. There are many eel restaurants around Lake Suwa, but the popular ones tend to sell out quickly even during business hours. I made a reservation a few days in advance, so I was able to secure the eel, but when I came to this restaurant, lunch reception had already closed, even though it was a weekday. was doing. There is a large parking lot in front of the store, which is helpful. As soon as you get off the car, you can't help but smell the aroma of kabayaki. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and had an elegant atmosphere, allowing us to relax and enjoy our meals. Since I made it all the way to Lake Suwa, I wanted to enjoy the eel to its fullest, so I decided to try the unagiju ``Matsu''. The taste of the eel ju, which was made with four luxurious pieces of fatty and meaty kabayaki eel, was insanely delicious. The grilled kabayaki is perfectly grilled to whet your appetite, and the surface is fragrant, while the flesh is so fluffy and tender that it can be easily cut with chopsticks. The umami and aromatic flavor of the eel melts in your mouth, and the rich flavor and aroma radiate to your nose. There are delicious Kansai-style eel restaurants in my hometown of Wakayama, but the plump, melt-in-your-mouth Kanto-style eel here is also really delicious. Also, the sauce is smooth and not greasy, with a sharp sweet-salty sauce that is outstanding. Furthermore, the liver soup and the eel chawan mushi that I ordered separately were also wonderfully delicious. If you ever visit Lake Suwa again, I would definitely like to stop by an eel restaurant and enjoy the most delicious eel like I had at this restaurant.
